• successfully winning a high-profile, five-year litigation case in the Dutch Supreme Court over the alleged infringement of an unregistered EU design right on a bicycle basket by our client’s competitor
• representing a Chinese waste technology company that was investigating a former chief engineer accused of misappropriating our client’s trade secrets to set up a new business. The accused agreed to cease supplying counterfeit devices and to transfer and return patents covering stolen IP back to our client and his now former employer
• advising a Swiss company that specializes in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of combination products and delivery systems in the area of aesthetics on patent and trade secrets litigation in the Vienna Courts, including settlement by way of a cross-license on advantageous terms
• helping a global commodities business identify its trade secrets – the building blocks of all other IP rights – and setting up the company’s first formal IP policy and comprehensive trade secrets protection plan. The plan incorporates administrative, physical and technical tools for identifying and protecting trade secrets, and maps those protections to each trade secret identified in the initial inventory—all with the intent to protect and maximize the value of the company’s IP
