Matt regularly advises on international tax, particularly in the context of international reorganisations and structuring for multinational groups, as well as structuring M&A transactions.
He has particular experience in the insurance sector, regularly advising M&A and tax insurance underwriters on W&I/RWI insurance policies and specific tax risk insurance policies, as well as wider insurance clients on M&A transactions and reorganisations.
Matt also has significant experience in the real estate and sports sectors, and advises clients on corporate real estate, transaction structuring (including acquisitions, developments and joint ventures), real estate finance and the acquisition and disposal of sports teams.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Matt worked at another international law firm for 19 years.
