Advising Wienerberger on Landmark Hydrogen Supply Agreement2026. március 27. Eversheds Sutherland has advised Wienerberger Limited on the successful completion of a hydrogen supply agreement that will play a significant role in supporting the company’s decarbonisation ambitions. Under the agreement, Wienerberger will transition their natural gas usage with hydrogen to decarbonise their industrial processes at its Denton manufacturing site in England. The project involves the retrofit of existing equipment to enable hydrogen usage and is supported by the UK Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Rounds. The hydrogen producing entity will be owned and managed jointly by Schroders Greencoat and Carlton Power. Eversheds Sutherland advised on the terms of the hydrogen supply agreement and related aspects of the matter. The team was led by Partner Simon Davies, supported by Legal Director James Shawe.
