Kate is a Legal Director and the Head of our Branding group in the UK.
Kate’s background as an IP solicitor complements her trade mark practice such that she provides advice to clients throughout all stages of a brand’s lifecycle.
Kate advises a large number of household names and is responsible for the management of clients’ global trade mark portfolios. She regularly advises in relation to trade mark selection, international trade mark and design clearance programmes, filing strategies and the prosecution of trade mark and design applications around the world. With her substantial IP experience, she also provides a broad understanding of branding issues and advises on strategic issues regarding brand protection and brand enforcement. Kate has also built up a substantial reputation for dealing with online brand enforcement issues and regularly advise clients in connection with domain name registration and recovery strategies. Kate is ranked in the World Trademark Lawyers Review and is a member of the International Trade Mark Association.
