Deepesh Upadhyay is the Co-Head of our UK Tax Group and leads our UK finance tax practice.
Deepesh’s practice spans the private capital markets and the financial services sector. His practice covers the full scope of tax issues relevant to domestic and international finance and fund transactions, including the structuring of financial products, debt funds, debt capital market transactions and debt restructurings, covering a wide range of underlying asset classes such as private credit, real estate, infrastructure and energy.
As a sector authority, Deepesh participates in HMRC consultations and joins working parties to help shape changes in laws affecting the sector. He has contributed to tax textbooks and has written articles, commentaries and practice notes for major publications.
