Chris advises clients on all aspects of individual and collective issues relating to employment law.
Dual-qualified in France and New York, he advises global companies and senior executives on French employment matters ranging from day-to-day issues to complex restructurings, corporate transactions and employee transfers. Chris has built deep experience in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional work, and has led international reorganisation projects.
Chris regularly assists clients in various sectors, in particular tech, media, and sports.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2025, Chris was a lawyer at Bird & Bird which he had joined in 2013, from Freshfields.

Chris has acted for a number of clients, particularly in the tech sector, on all aspects of employment law, including restructuring projects, reorganisations, business transfers and outsourcing projects. His recent experience includes:
- advising a US tech company on several consecutive multi-jurisdictional reorganisation projects in coordination with German colleagues, including advising on outsourcing projects and collective redundancies, particularly in relation to staff representative issues
- advising a major IT consulting company on several large-scale outsourcing projects, including advice on the transfer of employees to the company and the harmonization of terms and conditions, including coordination of the projects on an international basis
- advising a micromobility company on the closure of operations in several locations resulting from service contract changes, and related employment implications
- Day to day employment law advice for a wide range of international businesses in relation to their French operations
Chris also advises rugby and football player agents, particularly working on a number of high-profile separation negotiations with French rugby clubs, on behalf of both players and coaching staff.
