Duncan is a Partner in our Litigation and Dispute Management Group in Hong Kong, leading the insolvency and restructuring team. He is described by Legal 500 as providing “the commercial edge in disputes.”
He is often engaged restructuring and insolvency mandates which have cross-border aspects. In recent years, he has experience of acting for clients in successful restructurings involving issues of Hong Kong, PRC, Madagascan, Spanish and English law.
In addition to his restructuring and insolvency work, he regularly acts for clients in high-value disputes in the Asia Pacific region, including advising on commercial contract disputes, warranty claims and negligence issues. Most recently, this work has included represented banks in relation to claims and associated regulatory investigations related to the sale of allegedly unsuitably investment products.
