Mark Hughes

He joined the firm in 2020, after 18 years with a Magic Circle firm. He relocated from London to Hong Kong in 2010.

He advises clients on a wide range of contentious matters including litigation in the Hong Kong courts, arbitration, investigations by regulators and other authorities in Hong Kong and overseas and internal investigations and inquiries arising out of alleged misconduct. Many of the matters on which he has advised have involved multi-jurisdictional issues.

His clients have included financial institutions, private equity firms, brokers, asset management firms, listed companies, large state and privately held group companies, partnerships and individuals.
