Aleeza Kanner counsels a wide range of derivatives market participants on regulatory and transactional matters.
Aleeza advises financial institutions, broker-dealers, asset managers, banks and other corporate end users on derivatives regulatory compliance matters, including how to navigate Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and National Futures Association (NFA) regulations. She also assists her clients with derivatives documentation and structuring across numerous asset classes, including interest rate, commodity and credit derivatives.
Aleeza worked as an intern in the Capital Markets group for Eversheds Sutherland during her third year of law school. She was a judicial extern for the Honorable Scott Minder of the Maricopa County Superior Court and worked for a boutique firm in Phoenix, Arizona prior to pursuing her law degree.
