Something to shout about: Successful representation of the Slovak Republic in a major lawsuit against Interblue

On 23 February 2022, the decision of the appellate court confirming the judgment of the District Court Bratislava in the proceedings with the alleged legal successor of Interblue company, known from the so-called emission case, came into effect and is final. The claim of approx. EUR 60 million including interest against the Slovak Republic was dismissed entirely.

The law firm of SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA was leading the procedure in cooperation with Eversheds Sutherland, represented by Oliver Beldi, who acted as Swiss law expert to opine on complex Swiss corporate and contract law issues.
