Alex Brown (Finance), resident in the Atlanta office, counsels asset managers, banks, business development companies, and insurance companies on a variety of structured finance, fund finance, and other commercial lending transactions. David W. Cone (Real Estate), resident in the Atlanta office, represents developers, pension fund administrators, commercial mortgage servicers, lenders, and borrowers in a range of real estate and real estate finance matters. Brittany Edwards-Franklin (Tax), resident in the Atlanta office, counsels clients on a range of tax and ERISA employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation, health and welfare arrangements, and executive compensation. Melissa L. Fox (Litigation), resident in the Atlanta office, represents clients in business and commercial litigation matters and advises clients in connection with regulatory compliance issues. Andrea L. Gordon (Litigation), resident in the Washington DC office, advises clients on white collar, regulatory, and compliance matters, and is frequently called upon for advice relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, anti-money laundering laws, the Corporate Transparency Act, and securities fraud. Michael V. Mannino (Corporate), resident in the Atlanta office, advises publicly held and private firms in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, leveraged buyouts, venture capital investments, private placements of securities, and exit strategies. Deepa S. Menon (Tax), resident in the Washington DC office, counsels businesses in the complex areas of employment, worker privacy, privacy and data protection and technology product issues. She routinely advises clients regarding all aspects of federal, state, and local employment laws and privacy laws. Alexander F.L. Sand (Insurance), resident in the Austin office, advises clients across sectors on cybersecurity and data privacy matters, with a focus on financial services and technology companies. He provides practical and actionable advice on complex and evolving privacy and cybersecurity regulations. Alyssa N. Walker (Energy), resident in the Atlanta office, advises clients in various transactional matters particularly focused on the energy sector and has extensive experience in project development and mergers and acquisitions. John Allen Zumpetta (Insurance), resident in the Washington DC office, counsels clients on unclaimed property and insurance regulatory matters. His unclaimed property practice focuses on defending clients in multistate unclaimed property audits, assisting clients in voluntary disclosure programs, and advising clients on a wide range of unclaimed property compliance issues. Cyavash is experienced in multistate taxation issues involving income, franchise, sales and use, and property taxes. Maritza Badio (Finance), resident in the Atlanta office, represents clients in commercial lending, structured finance and project finance transactions. She advises clients on domestic and international acquisition finance, investment-grade finance, asset-based finance and transportation finance. Laura Jacobs (Finance), resident in the Atlanta office, represents lenders and borrowers on a variety of secured and unsecured commercial lending and debt finance transactions, including senior, second lien and subordinated facilities, leveraged acquisition financings, loan syndications and participations, and refinancings. Janell R. Johnson (Litigation), resident in the Washington DC office, counsels businesses in the complex areas of artificial intelligence, data privacy and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on assisting businesses in their compliance efforts with emerging comprehensive state privacy laws. Pooja Kohli (Litigation), resident in the New York office, counsels financial and corporate clients on a range of national and international contentious, regulatory and compliance matters.
