We advised on the successful completion of the merger between Meriaura Group Plc and Summa Defence Oy. The transaction involved several key arrangements, including the acquisition of all shares in Summa Defence Oy through a share exchange, with a purchase price of approximately EUR 188 million.

As part of the overall arrangement, shares in Meriaura Oy were sold to Meriaura Invest Oy for EUR 14.4 million. In addition, the company carried out a directed acquisition of its own shares from Meriaura Invest Oy. Following these transactions, the company has changed its name to Summa Defence Plc.

Meriaura Group’s shares are listed on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market in both Finland and Sweden. Trading in the new shares will begin on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
