Her clientele often comprises high-net-worth individuals, closely held entities, business enterprises, partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations. Jerrika’s experience includes, but is not limited to, conservation easements, foreign earned income, employee retention credits, captive insurance, estate and gift tax, cryptocurrency, rehabilitation tax credits, cash and noncash charitable contributions, civil fraud penalties, and tax liens and levies.
Before transitioning to private practice, Jerrika served as a Senior Attorney at the IRS Chief Counsel’s Office, where she litigated cases on behalf of the IRS. In this role, she participated in over 600 cases. Her exceptional work on syndicated conservation easement cases earned her the prestigious Legal Division Award. Jerrika provided written guidance to IRS revenue agents, appeals officers, and settlement officers on various substantive tax issues.
