Jazmen Howard advises clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, fund formations, joint ventures and restructurings.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Jazmen interned for the Honorable Marcia Morales Howard of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She also clerked for the Tennessee Office of the Post-Conviction Defender where she researched and drafted memoranda on mental health and racial justice issues present in capital conviction proceedings. In 2019, Jazmen participated in the Eversheds Sutherland Summer Associate program.
- Represented OTR Solutions in its acquisition of Epay Manager, a carrier payments platform which allows freight brokers to reduce costs and increase efficiencies of their back-office operations, while providing a new level of transparency to their carrier, factor, and shipper partners.
- Represented Sunergy, a DeSpac target company, in its business combination with ESGEN Acquisition Corp.
- Represented GEODIS, a world leader in transport and logistics headquartered in France, on entering into an agreement to acquire the US-based logistics company Need It Now Delivers.
- Represents architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry clients in multiple acquisitions and dispositions of AEC industry services businesses.
- Represented Perkins+Will in its acquisition of Tim Murphy Design Associates, an architecture and interior design studio based in San Francisco.
