Fathima is an admitted attorney with a strong foundation in intellectual property law. After earning her LLB degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, she joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2023 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2025.
Her expertise spans trade mark, domain name, and copyright litigation, as well as drafting legal opinions and conducting research on complex regulatory matters. Beyond intellectual property, she has assisted in reviewing and drafting agreements in both the IP and commercial space.
Fathima is adept at negotiating contracts, drafting court documents, and finalising settlements. She has also expanded into anti-counterfeiting and civil litigation. Her legal acumen and versatility make her a formidable presence in the field.
