Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that it has made 31 partner promotions in its offices in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa with effect from 1 May 2022. 65% of Eversheds Sutherland’s new partners are female. In Germany, Léon Wolters has been appointed as partner. In addition, three counsel promotions have been announced. Léon Wolters (employment and labour law, Hamburg) advises on all aspects of individual and collective labour law. He focuses on representing companies in restructurings, in particular regarding the negotiation of reconciliations of interests and social plans. He has comprehensive experience in advising international and medium-sized companies in conflicts with works councils and trade unions, including the conduct of conciliation committee proceedings. In addition, Léon Wolters advises start-ups on corporate structuring as well as design of employee participation and accompanies platform companies in the structuring of labour law frameworks. Lena Hommerich (labour and employment law, Hamburg), Dr. Christian Lindner (corporate/M&A) and Lars von Scheven (labour and employment law, both Munich) have been appointed as counsel. In December 2021 Eversheds Sutherland (US) announced the promotion of 15 new partners, which took effect on 1 January 2022.
