Webinar - The Renters' Rights Act: Countdown to Implementation

The government has published its roadmap to implementation of the Renters’ Rights Act, so for the first time we know when the ban on ASTs and no fault evictions will come into effect.

The roadmap also confirms the intended timeline for the ban on advance rent payments and the changes to rent increases to be implemented. More guidance is awaited, but for landlords and investors of residential property the countdown has started.

In this session, Head of Living Investment Balraj Birdi and Principal Associate Steven Thom, discuss the imminent changes to the private rented sector, the likely impact on the market and how landlords can start preparing now.
