Eversheds Sutherland Continues Finance Practice Growth with Three New AttorneysSeptember 26, 2022 Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that it has expanded the firm’s Finance Practice Group with three new attorneys in New York, Chicago and Atlanta. Coming on the heels of recent additions to its finance, bankruptcy and restructuring teams, Eversheds Sutherland added Rossina K. Petrova, an experienced transactional attorney focusing on structured finance and securitization, as counsel in New York. Erin E. Broderick, an accomplished restructuring and insolvency attorney, joined as counsel in Chicago, and in Atlanta, Nathaniel T. DeLoatch joined the firm as an associate focused on bankruptcy and reorganizations. “We are excited to expand our finance and restructuring capabilities with these talented attorneys to better serve our clients experiencing shifting market dynamics around the world,” said Peter A. Fozzard, Practice Group Leader Finance (US). “They add depth and breadth to our existing practice and their strong backgrounds in cross-border finance and restructuring fit well into our global platform that supports clients across multiple jurisdictions in complex transactions and distressed situations.” Ms. Petrova joined from finance law firm Chapman and Cutler and has more than 20 years of experience guiding clients, including asset managers, investment advisors, and large financial institutions, through complex cross-border financing transactions. She has significant international financial market and structured product experience, having served as associate general counsel with Citigroup Global Markets, Limited in London, and as a managing associate with a Magic Circle firm in London and a leading international law firm in Hong Kong. Ms. Broderick, previously with Kirkland & Ellis, Baker McKenzie, and Honigman, advises clients in complex distressed situations across the spectrum of transactional and litigation matters. She has particular expertise in cross-border restructurings and related litigation and representation of debt and distressed investment funds. Mr. DeLoatch joined from Troutman Pepper and focuses his practice on distressed debt, financial restructuring, and insolvency related scenarios, including creditors’ rights litigation and bankruptcy. Prior to his career in private practice, he served for several years as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable W. Homer Drake, Jr., of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
