Eversheds Sutherland FCB and Católica LisbonSchool of Law create Professorship in International Corporate Law

The established protocol aims the creation of a Professorship in International Corporate Law, that comprises the support in hiring an international academic with high potential, and the sponsorship of the Master of Law and Business.

Among other areas, this partnership will allow us to offer more attractive opportunities to our young lawyers, bringing advantages regarding recruitment and talent retention. Furthermore, as an international law firm, it is essential to be involved in the internationalization of the education and practice of law, which is one the main goals of Católica Lisbon School of Law and Católica Global School of Law.”, referred Rodrigo Almeida Dias and Gonçalo da Cunha.

From Católica Lisbon School of Law, the Dean Ana Taveira da Fonseca expressed “We are very happy that Eversheds Sutherland FCB joined our Chairs and Professorships programme. It is an important support that will allow us to hire a high value academic, expert in International Corporate Law. Eversheds Sutherland FCB will also sponsor our Master´s in Business Law, the only programme in Portugal that offers a wide range of mixed courses, taught simultaneously by a Law Professor and a Management professor.”

This Protocol between Eversheds Sutherland FCB and Católica Lisbon School of Law marks the start of a strategic partnership that intends to contribute to the modernization and internationalization of education , as well as to the research development in the law sector in Portugal.
