Adam develops practical solutions to the complex issues of compensation, benefits and retirement plans.
A member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Tax practice group (US), Adam helps companies like yours to navigate their most challenging employee issues, including executive compensation, employee benefits, and retirement plans. He has advised on international and billion-dollar mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Adam is the Executive Partner of Eversheds Sutherland (US), and is a member of the Global Executive Management Team and the Global Board for Eversheds Sutherland Ltd. In addition to being responsible for the day-to-day management of Eversheds Sutherland (US), Adam is closely involved with the strategic policies and operations of the firm in the US and globally.
Adam's broad experience includes the design and operation of tax-qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and 409A compliance, equity compensation, executive employment agreements, health plans, fringe benefits, and payroll tax. He also regularly advises financial services and retirement services providers, including ERISA and other legal issues.
Additionally, Adam is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he currently teaches “Retirement Plan Qualification Requirements.” Prior to being elected Executive Partner, he was previously the Co-Chair of the Eversheds Sutherland Global Board.
