He has been lead counsel to various industry participants on dozens of large and notable transactions in the energy and infrastructure space. Prem applies his deep legal and market knowledge and creative problem solving to understand the goals of all the parties involved in a transaction.
Prem’s experience also includes representation of owners and contractors in connection with the negotiation of EPC contracts for large scale energy and other infrastructure assets. He has also represented various public and private sector entities, including municipal entities, in connection with the purchase and sale of infrastructure assets in the context of negotiated sales and competitive auctions. Prem has also served as lead counsel to the US Department of Energy Loan Guarantee Program in connection with the financing of several high-profile innovative renewable energy projects.
