Ignites: Gensler May Have Just One Year to Tie Up Rulemaking Agenda

Eversheds Partner Cliff Kirsch discusses some considerations for asset managers and investment advisers with regards to SEC proposed rules that have the potential to be impacted if there is a change in the next US presidential administration.   

Cliff asked: “Does a firm need to create a group to think about the rules, think about the adoption and any steps that should be taken?” 

“That's one thing the firm has to take into consideration," he said. "Or do you just wait until the final rule is adopted to kick off your implementation efforts?”
