Eversheds Sutherland advised Clarion Partners Europe on the acquisition of a high-quality logistics property near Hanover for around €35 millionFebruary 03, 2026 Eversheds Sutherland has advised Clarion Partners Europe on the acquisition and financing of a logistics property in Sarstedt near Hanover. The property, sold by Barings, was acquired by an investment fund managed by Clarion Partners Europe for around €35 million. Built in 2020, the 29,000 m² distribution centre is located in a prime location south of Hanover and benefits from excellent connections to the B6, A7, and A2 motorways. The property is fully leased to a 3PL logistics service provider. The Eversheds Sutherland team consisted of Peter Junghänel (partner, real estate, Frankfurt), Torsten Volkholz (partner, real estate finance, Hamburg/Frankfurt), and Vanessa Flato (senior associate, finance, Frankfurt). Barings was advised by CMS, Dr. Sebastian Orthmann and Katharina Griese (Hamburg). Peter Junghänel and his team regularly advise Clarion Partners Europe on transactions, including the acquisition of a portfolio of seven large logistics properties in the Netherlands and Germany as part of a share deal (2024/2025).
