Lennart is a Principal Associate at Eversheds Sutherland’s Litigation & Dispute Management group, with a special emphasis on international arbitration and corporate law.
His areas of practice include international commercial disputes, litigation and corporate law related disputes.
He has acted in proceedings conducted under the arbitration rules of the ICC, NAI, SCC, UNCITRAL Rules, as well as ad hoc arbitration.
He has also acted in squeeze-out proceedings and post-M&A disputes as well as inquiry proceedings before the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
Lennart regularly publishes about dispute resolution, arbitration and corporate law related subjects in various well-known law journals.

Relevant working experience includes:
- Successfully defended a Japanese chemical company in ICC proceedings with seat in Osaka, Japan (both in interim measures and the main arbitration) regarding a USD 20 million claim of one of its former distributors
- Assisting a Dutch global operating designing and supply company for the international energy industry in NAI, UNCITRAL and ad hoc arbitrations against a UK based supplier in relation to a multi-million claim for defaulting parts. Successfully consolidated two ad hoc arbitrations under Article 1046 DCCP
- Assisting a foreign gas company in summary proceedings, after the counterparty levied attachments on an amount of gas worth USD 30 million following enforcement proceedings of a SCC award with a successful subsequent joinder in the main proceedings
- Assisting clients in various (litigious) take-overs, post-M&A disputes and squeeze out proceedings
- Assisting various clients in recognition and enforcement proceedings in the Netherlands
