She primarily advises Chinese investors on M&A transactions, Greenfield projects, corporate, labour and contract law as well as in the area of compliance and dispute resolution. She also provides advice on foreign investments in China.
Ling advises national and international companies from all sectors, in particular the automotive, electrical and renewable energy industry, as well as the chemical and health sectors.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland in August 2011 , she worked as the Head of the China Desk department at a renowned Munich law firm and was responsible for Sino-German legal relations.
Ling is Chairwoman of the China University of Political Science and Law Alumni Association of Germany e.V.

- She studied German law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She passed the first and second state law examinations. She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Munich Higher Regional Court.
- She studied Chinese law at the China University of Political Science and Law and obtained a Master of Laws degree. She passed the Chinese National Judicial Examination with a score in the top ten nationwide and obtained the Chinese lawyer qualification in 2005.
