March 14, 2022
Between 28 February and 3 March 2022 we held the inaugural Global Tech Week which focussed on the opportunities posed by digitalization and the potential legal implications and challenges.
The HQ office space is undergoing a hybrid evolution and no more so in the world of Tech occupiers. What are the considerations occupiers need to think about now to bring the flexible workplace to life?
In the first half of this Global Tech Week session, which took place on Tuesday 1 March, Real Estate partner Tom Goldsmith discussed what it takes to deliver a thriving and agile workplace that is built to suit the ever changing requirements of this industry’s occupier and looked at lease structuring, swing space and even the role of the metaverse office.
In the second half, Data Centre partner Mark Chester discussed the hyperscale data centre market, the emerging demand for Edge data centres, and how data sovereignty issues are driving data centre growth across Europe.
