We advised Multirel Oy in the expansion of its ownership base

We acted as comprehensive advisor to the owners of Multirel Oy in a transaction where the company seeks new growth and expands its ownership base together with a group of investors led by Helmet Capital. 
The continuous acceleration of electrification and the transformation of the energy system bring new challenges, such as increasing decentralisation of production and fluctuating capacities.  These have continuously increased the demand for solutions for measuring and managing power quality. 

An expert in the electricity sector and technical wholesale business, Multirel Oy responds to the change and enters the next growth phase by expanding its ownership base. The company partnered with Helmet Capital, whose investor group brings significant new owners to the company. 

Multirel offers a wide range of transformers, compensation equipment, electrical equipment and accessories alongside related services to energy companies, network companies and industry across Finland.

Helmet Capital is a Finnish investment company that has invested in successful domestic companies since 1988. 

Partner Henrik Sandholm was responsible for the assignment. The team also included COO Antti Liimatainen, Specialist Counsel Leena Pyymäki, Senior Associate Linda Miettinen, Associate Petra Snäll and M&A Manager Santeri Vaattovaara.
