Our global partnership with the International Rescue CommitteeJune 08, 2023 Eversheds Sutherland is a proud global partner of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the global non-profit organization that helps people affected by humanitarian crises. Founded in 1933, with a mission to ‘help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster, to survive, recover and gain control over their future’, the IRC assisted over 32.9 million people in 2022 alone. Our strategic partnership consists of financial support and pro bono legal advice, using our time and talents to support their incredible humanitarian work. The IRC is an organization of around 20,000 people, working across over 40 crisis-affected countries and in over 28 US and European cities. In 2022, the IRC and its partners have reached over 32.9 million people in countries affected by crisis. This work has included:
