Matilda Frykman Krans

Matilda is an Associate in Eversheds Sutherland’s Commercial group in Stockholm, where she advises clients on a wide range of Swedish and international commercial law matters, mainly focusing on foreign direct investment, public procurement and competition law, and commercial contracts. 

She works with clients in a variety of sectors and industries, including energy and utilities, technology, manufacturing, defense and dual-use, education, and consumer goods and services. Matilda is committed to understanding the clients’ businesses to provide precise and practical advice that helps clients effectively achieve their goals.

With her focus on foreign direct investment and other regulatory matters, Matilda often works closely with her M&A and Capital Markets colleagues, providing comprehensive legal analysis and strategic legal advice to help clients navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Matilda regularly assists with foreign direct investment filings in M&A transactions and other investments and represents clients in administrative proceedings before authorities.

Public procurement is another key area of Matilda's practice. She provides legal advice in connection with all stages of public procurement procedures and other matters related to public contracts. Her work in this area includes advising on tender processes and contract negotiations as well as representing clients in judicial review proceedings before the administrative courts. Matilda also advises on matters concerning public access to information and documents and she frequently represents clients in proceedings before the administrative courts in relation to such matters.
