Isabella Norbu is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Advisory practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.
Her practice focuses on European cybersecurity in the financial sector.
In her day to day work Isabella advises international corporations in their regulatory interactions with European supervisory authorities and handles strategic contracts and negotiations for her clients. Isabella’s main focus are European cybersecurity laws, such as NIS2, DORA, CRA, where she advises clients on the expanding legal requirements and implications around IT security and operational resilience.
During her years at Eversheds Sutherland, Isabella has successfully completed secondments with clients, e.g., in the area of data protection and data security at a Fortune 10 company. Isabella also provides continuous support to leading global financial institutions in the adoption and implementation of the EU’s cybersecurity law for the financial sector, DORA.
Isabella has a background in German and French law, trained in Berlin and Paris at international law firms and at the United Nations in New York. She’s also an author of the International Comparative Legal Guide on Cybersecurity 2023 to 2025 and at Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence. Isabella is part of the Cyber Women initiative and a regular speaker on cyber resilience matters.
