Allison advises clients on energy regulatory, enforcement and compliance matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state commissions.
She also counsels electric cooperatives and other electric utilities, transmission companies, energy trading companies, generators, and end users on a wide range of energy-related transactional matters involving natural gas, oil and electric utility issues, and securing necessary regulatory approval for energy-related transactions. Allison also assists clients with cybersecurity and data protection matters.
Allison provides advice on trade-related matters, including investigations with the US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the International Trade Administration (ITA) at the US Department of Commerce. She also represents clients in front of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the US International Trade Commission, and other federal agencies, and advises clients regarding state and federal policy issues.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Allison participated in the 2014 Summer Associate program. Her previous experience includes serving as a public policy intern for Facebook and a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Jan L. Brodie of the 19th Circuit in Fairfax County, Virginia.
