Judy advises public and private companies in their mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions.
She counsels them on the purchase and sale of businesses, restructurings and strategic relationships, and independent contractor and supply arrangements. She also counsels clients in deals throughout the United States and internationally in industries such as insurance, private funds, technology-related services, electronics, water treatment and manufacturing. As part of her practice, Judy also advises on issues of pre-merger reportability and interpretations of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act and its regulations. Lastly, she manages a broad array of general corporate governance issues for companies.
While attending law school, Judy worked as a legal intern for the Georgia Department of Education, extensively researching education law and policy.
