Musab Aljammaz is the partner, and Head of Commercial in our Riyadh office.
He is a Saudi lawyer with specialized expertise in leading and executing key national legal initiatives to achieve Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the advancement of the Kingdom’s legal and regulatory landscape.
He has a proven track record of delivering practical, high-level legal counsel on complex matters under Saudi law to government entities, major local corporations, and leading global enterprises across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Musab holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of California, Berkeley, and both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, in addition to several professional certificates from various local and international universities and institutes such as INSEAD, Georgetown, ESADE, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman College, among others.
He is also a member of the 2030 Leaders Program presented by the Misk Foundation.

Musab has worked in several ministries and national committees, most recently the Ministry of Justice. His key professional experiences include:
- Managing relationships with several local, regional, and international companies, including some state-owned enterprises and major American, European, and Asian corporations. Overseeing the provision of specialized advisory services related to their operations in the Kingdom, including drafting and reviewing commercial and employment contracts, and assessing the regulatory environment affecting their business activities. This includes compliance with technology regulations, data laws, fintech regulations, sports sector regulations, and real estate laws. Providing strategic legal advice on complex matters in accordance with Saudi law and its applications before courts and regulatory authorities, as well as aligning with local and international market practices. Also supports all firm practices on matters related to Saudi law.
- Establishing and supervising the Legislative Office at the Ministry of Justice, recruiting the team, Developing a professional methodology for preparing legislative projects; supervising their practical application and development, and preparing models, work guides, and a training package for qualification.
- Drafting more than 50 laws and regulations to support the realization of 2030 vision, including the Civil Transactions Law, the Penal Code (project), the Evidence Law, the Family Law, amendments to the Code of Law Practice, Implementing Regulation for Regulating the Licensing of Foreign Law Firms, the new Enforcement Law (project), the Mediation Law (project), the Implementing Regulations for the Judicial Costs, the Implementing Regulations of Notarization Law, the Rules of Professional Conduct for Lawyers, the Communications and Information Technology Law, the Bylaw of the National Center for Non-profit Sector, the Mediation Rules , and other laws and regulations alongside several external and internal policies.
- Participating in reviewing and preparing many Saudi legislative projects, unified Gulf and Arab legislations, and participating in many legislative committees at the Bureau of Experts, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Arab League.
- Working as a legal advisor to the leadership of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Communications, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, including providing legal consultations and support to aid decision-making and enhance legal compliance, preparing contracts and partnership agreements with the private sector (PPP), negotiating them, supporting national transformation initiatives, addressing their legal challenges, and reviewing internal policies.
- Developing four specialized national initiatives in the National Transformation Program, namely: the “Development of the Judicial laws and regulations and its law-making tools” initiative, the “Enhancement of Legal Compliance” initiative, the “Development of Judicial Policies” initiative, and the “Enhancement of Human Rights Compliance” initiative.
- Establishing and developing several legal departments and legal development units in various ministries.
- Representing the Kingdom in several international participations related to legal reforms and legislative work, including representing the Kingdom and speaking about its achievements at the United Nations, the Arab League, and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
- Working as a part-time legal expert at the World Bank.
- Member and Chairman of several specialized committees, including the Judicial Legislation Committee, the Legal Committee at the National Competitiveness Center, the Legal and Sharia Committee for the Alimony Fund, the Legislation and Regulations Committee for the Housing Program, the Legal Committee for Judicial Costs, and others.
