Esyllt is an Associate Solicitor in the Employment, Labor and Pensions practice group in our London office.
She has gained a wealth of experience in tackling immigration and employment issues within various sectors, including the education and financial sectors.
Esyllt regularly provides immigration advice to clients, including prevention of illegal working, applications for leave to remain in the UK under the Points Based System, and undertaking audits of all areas of compliance with sponsor obligations.
She routinely advises employers regarding employment tribunal claims and the negotiation of settlement agreements. She advises a range of public and private organizations on a range of issues including redundancy, TUPE, discrimination, remuneration codes, performance and absence issues, and the drafting of company policies.
Esyllt is comfortable providing training to both compliance and HR teams on various immigration and employment topics.
As Brexit approached, Esyllt was thoroughly involved in advising organizations on the effects of Brexit and the best ways in which to retain EU staff and safeguard future recruitment. She has organized and held Brexit roundtable events across our UK offices and has delivered briefing sessions to many clients.
Esyllt has written articles on immigration matters for publication in Free Movement and has been quoted by The Guardian regarding the impact of Brexit on EEA citizens.
She is a regular speaker at the UKCISA conference and at British Council events.
