Kieran is an Associate in the Commercial department in the Johannesburg office.
Kieran routinely advises clients, operating in various industries (including mining and natural resources, technology, media and telecommunications, photovoltaic solar power, banking & finance), on matters involving public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and structuring, takeovers, securities law, private equity, broad-based black economic empowerment transactions, management buy-outs, joint ventures and competition (anti-trust) matters.
In addition, Kieran regularly advises clients on corporate governance matters, and navigating risks and disputes arising at both shareholder and board levels.
Before entering the legal profession, Kieran worked as a management consultant, providing advisory services throughout South Africa’s banking industry, which included secondment for several months to one of Namibia’s largest banks.
