Eversheds Sutherland Advises Sunergy Renewables on Completed Business Combination with ESGEN Acquisition Corp.

ESGEN Acquisition Corp., a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, last week announced the completion of its business combination with Sunergy Renewables, LLC, a leading Florida-based provider of residential solar and energy efficiency solutions.
At the closing, ESGEN changed its name to “Zeo Energy Corp.”, and will be led by Sunergy’s senior management. The Board of Directors of Zeo will include members from both Sunergy and ESGEN. At the open of trading on March 14, 2024, Zeo’s common stock and warrants began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new ticker symbols “ZEO” and “ZEOWW,” respectively.
