Ruth is an associate in our Competition, Trade and Foreign Investment group with a particular interest in litigation and experience acting on a broad range of transactional, advisory and contentious matters.
She advises clients on a variety of competition law issues relating to commercial contracts, information exchange, anti-competitive agreements, the application of block exemption regulations and routes to market, and also has significant experience advising on the application of UK merger control, foreign direct investment and national security (including supporting clients with notifications to the relevant authorities under these regimes). Her contentious experience includes advising a client in relation to an Ofcom investigation involving violations of competition law, advising on a collective action claim before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and advising a client on its application for an annulment of a legislative act before the European Court.
