Frank Achilles is a Partner in the firm's Munich office and Head of the German Employment and Labor Law practice group.
In his role, he plays a leading role in advising international clients, particularly on reorganizations and restructurings, the implementation of new compensation models and work-time systems, as well as in the context of transfers of undertakings and M&A transactions. In the area of restructuring, he has advised various national and international companies in recent years on mass layoffs involving reconciliation of interests and social plans, as well as on secondments and negotiations with works councils on a wide range of topics. In addition, Frank Achilles advises companies on individual termination processes, both in and out of court, and on matters related to the drafting of employment contracts and policies.
His regular clients include major international corporations, publicly traded and mid-sized companies, as well as banks and insurance companies, whom he advises on all matters of labor law, particularly those related to works constitution law. Furthermore, Frank Achilles frequently serves as an arbitrator in conciliation committees.
Frank Achilles regularly conducts training sessions on labor law and works council law topics in both German and English, including for Beck and Haufe.
