The Eversheds Sutherland real estate team provided legal advice on the preparation of contractual documentation for the start of construction of the first Ronald McDonald House in the Czech Republic

After almost 20 years of preparation, negotiation and fundraising, the construction of the first Ronald McDonald House in the Czech Republic began at the University Hospital in Motol. The house will serve as a temporary home for families of children in long-term care and will provide complete facilities, from accommodation, meals and jobs to entertainment facilities for the youngest members of the family. There are currently almost 400 such houses around the world.

The construction of the house will be financed by the Ronald McDonald House Endowment Fund, which has long been dedicated to supporting families in the Czech Republic coping with the long-term hospitalization of their youngest members. In the Czech Republic, the endowment fund also provides financial support to the families at the level of regional hospitals.
