Alyssa advises clients in various transactional matters particularly focused on the energy sector and has extensive experience in project development and mergers and acquisitions.
Her experience includes advising various stakeholders in the energy industry in the negotiations of engineering, procurement and construction contracts, power purchase agreements, energy storage service agreements, energy trading agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, joint venture arrangements, merger agreements, build-own-transfer acquisition agreements and other acquisition agreements. Alyssa’s practice is primarily focused on the clean energy and natural gas sectors and Alyssa is well versed in guiding clients through complex commercial transactions involving battery energy storage, solar, wind, nuclear, natural gas-fired, green hydrogen and other technologies. Due to the in-depth nature of Alyssa’s practice, she has counseled rural electric cooperatives, utilities, independent power producers, private equity funds, distributed generation and utility-scale developers, contractors, suppliers, corporate off-takers, and various other stakeholders on managing and strategically allocating risks in these commercial transactions.

- Advised a multinational energy transportation company in a cross-border deal in connection with its divestment of a large transmission line in the West through the sale of Canadian and US entities owning relevant portions of the transmission line.
- Represented X-ELIO North America, Inc. in the acquisition of Lily Solar, LLC, which owned the development assets for an approximately 70-MWac / 103-MWdc solar generating facility in South Carolina from NARENCO, and advised on related agreements.
