The fintech industry is constantly evolving, and the trend for complex and sophisticated regulation seems unlikely to change. Our Fintech team will keep you ahead of these changes, with strong relationships with regulators and other government bodies.
Several of our lawyers have practical fintech experience – from in-house roles with global banking and insurance clients, regulators and leading technology platforms. We have worked with our clients to structure some of the most innovative joint venture and strategic partnering arrangements in the payments industry, including advising one of the world’s largest banks.
We’re also part of a major global Banking and Finance legal team offering a full-service approach - we regularly advise leading financial institutions, financial services companies, merchants and fintechs on strategic relationships, investments, IP, tax and compliance matters. So whatever your legal issue, we can provide you with a one-stop shop for commercially-focused legal advice.
The Polish office was one of the advisers in a project aimed at developing innovative financial services in Poland. We worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA), and the Ministry of Finance to develop a road map for eliminating barriers to the growth of the FinTech sector in Poland. We also supported PFSA in implementing a regulatory sandbox, and advised on identifying supervisory technologies that could be implemented in Poland.
