MicroAire Surgical Instruments LLC is a global leader in surgical power tools and medical devices, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia. Neosyad is an innovative French medical device company in adipose tissue engineering for reconstructive and plastic surgery applications. The sale was completed by Neosyad’s co-founders and minority shareholders. This strategic transaction enhances MicroAire’s capabilities in the field of medical device innovation, strengthening its market presence and expanding its expertise in adipose tissue engineering technology.
In Paris, the Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Franck Bourgeois (partner), Doriane Shannon (senior associate) and Benjamin Grunebaum (associate) for the corporate/M&A aspects of the transaction. The due diligences of the transaction involved Gaëtan Cordier (partner) and Brian Robion (associate) for intellectual property as well as Deborah Attali (partner), Anne Cognet (counsel) and Nicolas Etcheparre (counsel) in employment law.
