Eversheds Sutherland advised EQT on the acquisition of a portfolio of five highly attractive logistics facilities in operation. The facilities are located in supply-constrained logistics regions in mid-Germany – Erfurt, Chemnitz, Niederaula and two sites in Dresden, totalling 175,000 sqm.
All tenants benefit from convenient access to major federal highways in key lo-gistics hotspots. With this transaction, EQT continues to strengthen its remarkable portfolio of modern, high‑quality logistics assets in Germany with strong ESG cre-dentials and well-designed loading configurations.
We extend our congratulations to all parties involved and appreciate the excellent cooperation throughout the project.
The Eversheds Sutherland team consisted of Kathrin Paulet (Partner, Dusseldorf), Franz von Schönborn (Senior Associate, Munich), Fiete Feld (Associate, Dussel-dorf), Xenia Schweizer (Associate, Dusseldorf), Marco Hösch (Associate, Dussel-dorf) and Karsten Suilmann (Associate, Dusseldorf) (all Real Estate) as well as Daniel von Brevern (Partner, German Competition, Trade and Foreign Invest-ment, Dusseldorf) and Maximilian Schöps (Senior Associate, Anti-Trust Law, Dusseldorf).
The team regularly advises EQT on transactions, including the acquisition of Lidl’s new distribution centre in Hückelhoven, and the recent acquisition of a prime lo-gistics facility in Borna, near Leipzig.
