Eversheds Sutherland has advised Novar on the acquisition of a German photovoltaic project from WiNRG.
Our client thus expands its renewable energy portfolio with a photovoltaic project in Germany and establishes its market entry. The photovoltaic plant is expected to have a capacity of 91 MWp to 156 MWp. The seller of the project is WiNRG, a Hamburg-based renewable energy developer.
"This project is an important milestone for our entry into the German market and underlines our commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure in the region. We look forward to continuing to work with our local partners as we strive for a more sustainable future together," says Gerben Smit, CEO of Novar.
"We are delighted to have been able to advise Novar on its market entry in Germany with this first acquisition," adds Dr Silke Gantzckow, lead partner at Eversheds Sutherland.
