Eversheds Sutherland Moves Atlanta Office to Iconic Bank of America PlazaApril 16, 2026 ATLANTA | Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that the firm has relocated its Atlanta office to the Bank of America Plaza and now occupies four top floors of the iconic Midtown skyscraper. The firm’s new space features a modern workplace designed to support collaboration, flexible work arrangements, and an elevated client experience. “Atlanta has been home to our firm for more than a century, so it was important to us that our new office maintains a strong connection to the city’s business community,” said Lino Mendiola, Global Co-CEO and US Chief Executive of Eversheds Sutherland. “I am proud to say that we have moved into one of the city’s most iconic buildings and that our new space is a modern, purpose-built environment that encourages collaboration and provides flexibility for the future. Most importantly, our new space supports our people by creating thoughtful work spaces enabling us to serve clients even more effectively.” Eversheds Sutherland will occupy the 49th through 52nd floors of the tallest building in the Southeast, offering expansive views of the city from all sides. The firm’s new offices include three practice floors and a dedicated amenity floor featuring reception, a boardroom, a conference center divisible into multiple rooms, visitor offices, an employee lounge, and wellness accommodations. Each practice floor also includes smaller meeting rooms with advanced AV capabilities, refreshment areas, and dedicated wellness and mothers’ rooms. “This move was shaped by paying close attention to how we use our office and how we want our space to function day-to-day,” said Cindy Upchurch, Office Managing Partner of Atlanta. “By prioritizing meeting space, collaboration areas, and shared amenities, we’ve created an office that makes it easier to come together and welcome clients in way that reflects how we operate today with an eye toward tomorrow.” The Bank of America Plaza was selected following a comprehensive evaluation process that included employee surveys, focus groups, leadership interviews, and an assessment of space utilization at the firm’s previous location. The building’s efficient floor plans, central Midtown location, and recently renovated state-of-the-art amenities were key factors in the decision. The new office also reflects the firm’s commitment to sustainability and responsible resource use. In addition to reducing its footprint by approximately 46% and committing to purchasing renewable energy credits to offset 100% of expected energy consumption over the next decade, the Bank of America Plaza is LEED Gold certified.
