Eversheds Sutherland’s Global Insurance Practice Recognized with Several Awards for Service Excellence

Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that the firm’s Global Insurance Practice was honored with several prestigious awards for service excellence. 

The Insurance Team won ‘Insurance Team of the Year’ at the Legal Business Awards, held last week in London. Now in its 25th year, the Legal Business Awards is one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the UK legal calendar, celebrating the very best in the profession.

The team was recognized for its work with client Aon, a leading global professional services firm, on the acquisition of an actuarial software platform business. Martin Mankabady, Partner in our UK Insurance and Regulatory Group, led the team in the transaction and was assisted by a multijurisdictional team of more than 40 attorneys from the UK, France and the US.

The team was also recognized with ‘Highest Commendation’ in the Legal Services Provider of the Year category at the Inside P&C Honors 2022. The event, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the US and Bermuda market and reinsurance, was held in New York City last week.
