Sara counsels public and private investment funds and business development companies on a range of corporate, regulatory, compliance and governance matters.

As a member of the Eversheds Sutherland (US) Capital Markets and Investments group, Sara advises on various capital raising efforts in connection with public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, including initial public offerings, shelf offerings, at-the-market offerings, investment grade bond offerings and baby bond offerings. She regularly guides clients regarding compliance with the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

Sara also counsels small business investment companies, including with respect to the SBIC licensing process and ongoing regulatory compliance matters.
